FEMA Picks AT&T and Verizon as Go-To Carriers
Why would they choose At&t?
That said, AS1987....my guess (just considering your handle) is that I'm several years your elder, so don't get to full of yourself, kiddo. It was you who posted a blanket statement of mediocrity (At&t has very crappy signal, and very unreliable verses Verizon or even Sprint. I think they'll realize their mistake once they get the phones.. "Can you hear me now?" "No, because we didn't choose a better service provider.") for which you have no personal know...

Secondly, CDMA signal out performs GSM signal a majority of the time. It's been proven, and also At&t has more dropped calls than any other provider. Period. I'm done chatting with you. Anyone else can respond that has more respect.
And yet again, you have nothing to back up your statements. I have personal experience to rely on as well as my own corporate training that I received while at VZW where I got to learn about all the special properties of why CDMA networks are "better". Again....they're only better if they work for you. Same is true with GSM and iDEN. I have never encounter...

Again, you're making quite an effort to be misleading. I simply called you for what you are, a flamer. Your post...the one that started this...was a childish flame. Period. Your retort to me is what led to me pointing out your age since you wished to imply that you could accurately assume my own. So don't turn things around now just because the message you posted was deleted.

Our goverment (I am american) is on a streak of bad choices. This one wouldnt be any different then the recent others.
That said..
I dont see Tmo and Sprint being bought out by AT&T or Verizon (I see them both trying take the #1 & #2 spots from thier competition)
AT&T actually has really good signal (at least, everywhere I have been with a AT&T cellphone).
AT&T seems reliable to me...those around me and more importantly the president of the Wachovia ban...

If AT&T had a Reliable network, the ratings would show that.
Guess what! I DONT SEE ANY GOOD RATINGS!
I dont think a network that has problmes all the time is very reliable.

AT&T is not Reliable, and i bet you ive been more place then you have.
Ahh, screw it. I dont feel like toying with you. Lets just say that I worked for a company who rated hotels and I spent a lot of time travling from one to the next. Needless to say I went around a lot and....well...naw, not worth it. Anyway, point is, if you read my post correctly it says one key factor.........
