How long before it takes for customers to pile back into the stores because they lost their detachable keyboard? 😕

I wonder if they will sell Detachble Keyboards seperatly too?

They can turn this into a marketing chance. They can make different size, shape and color Kayboards.

So your daughter isnt going to just want to replace her lost keyboard....she is going to want the Upgraded Keyboard that lights up the number keys and comes in Red, Green or Blue.

Note: You can also then, do the same with the Screen. I mean, once detached, its possible to lose either end.

The part with the screen will have the phone portion in it. So if they are lose that part they would need to buy a new phone, not just a new piece.

Unless the SIM card is on the Keyboard end. If I lose the screen but still have my SIM I dont really need a whole new phone, just a new screen.....

Where does the SIM card go in this phone?

You don't put a SIM card in a CDMA phone...?

CDMA phones are programmed over the air, no SIM cards are used. If you see a CDMA phone with a SIM card it's because the phone is a GSM/CDMA "Global Phone".

There is no sim card. The programming is in the phone itself. CDMA phones do not use sim cards unless they are built for global roaming.

Since the keyboard is detachable (as in, not required for a functioning phone) the phone itself (the antenna's, the programming, all the "meat" of the device) is located behind the screen.

So while the keyboard is replaceable, the screen is not.

lol, well, thanks to everyone who posted after me to correct me on the whole SIM card thing.

Lol. Sorry. I think I was in the middle of topics (jumping back and forth) and mixed 2 of them together. Either that or I was too into cracking jokes that I didnt notice this was a Vzw phone (partially true, I was more focused on the phone then its carrier; which would have told me right away no SIM).

Anyway...scratch my last comment of the record. I guess you was right, no replaceing the screen half. We can still carry the Keyboard and different versions of it. lol.

Ahh, whats the point. Sorry for the mistake and thanks for the corrections. Next topic.
