I'm excited about this prospect. and can't wait to see what Nokia comes up with. unlike the previous post i seriously am excited about this. who knows what this could lead into.

As a person who DOES by Nokia phones, I am leary, I played with their gps unit, which was overpriced and mediocre. Garmin and TomTom both slamdunked it. They might be better off doing hat they do best, making kick ass phones. But still I will keep an open mind.

Agreed. I'm not exactly sure why Nokia would be exploring this route. There isn't much profit in laptops--especially if you are not an established player who can make up that profit in peripherals like printers.
The only thing I can think of would be the possibility that Nokia might be expanding something like Ovi and would like to make it more accessible to people. Or maybe Nokia doesn't plan to go into the full fledged lapt...
