epic vs. evo

so im on the fence about which to get. ive seen the evo and played with it a bit, it seems fast, pretty smooth with everything, and the cameras and video recording is pretty beast. but it lacks the keyboard that i so love. and from the reviews, i hear mostly amazing things about screen and speed for the epic, but its lower resolution camera lacks the clarity that a 5mp should have. and the wifi seems to lack the evo as well. i pray they get around to fixing that but with the amoled screen the battery is supposed to last a while longer than the evo. what r u guys going with, have, or recommend?

How can people have a phone that isn't released until the 31st?

The reason people can have this phone before its release date is because sprint has developers like google and has beta testers that test the phones before they get released Cool

Which one to go with, that is a personal call. As for the KB, I came from the HTC WM6 lines of phones Mogel, TP and TP2. The TP2 had the/has the best KB out. I will say this it took a few days, and only a few days to get to the point of being good on the Evo's screen KB. I now use better KB and I don't think I could go back to a physical KB again. My screen is great, good pics, video and great for watching movies.

Hope that helps

Well I have the Evo and I love it! As far as the kb I came from using a palm treo 750 and also own a pixi, and its true after using the on-screen kb on the Evo for a couple of days there's no need to go back to a physical kb, though it is nice to have the option. I've used the on-screen kb on an iPhone as well and this one tops it.

On the other hand the epic offers that beautiful super amoled and promises better battery life though the battery life on the Evo truly isn't that bad I am a heavy user as I always have WiFi on and am constantly using apps, checking e-mail and surfing the web and I only have to charge my Evo once a day.. which by the way charges QUICK! (Advanced task killer helps)

Ultimately I would say to wait for the epic...
