I would say that the touch screen being crap is the reason. I just said today that it is the next RAZR. What a piece of junk.

Let me shed some light on this subject from personal experience. On top of the crappy touch screen, the handset had a lot of hardware bugs that couldn't be fixed with an update. I

I wen't through 4 handsets in a 4 month period. The first one i had, the ear speaker blew the second day i had it. The phone would also mysteriously shut off on it's own; not power down off, but shut off completely and unexpectedly. The phone then could not be powered back on unless you (a)removed the battery, (b)replace the battery, and (c)power the phone back on. That was a pain.

It overheats I guess. We were told to start replacing them through warranty with, get this, the pantech matrix. Now you know it's a piece of crap if we're told to replace it with another piece of crap.

I know about the Eternity and Incite but ATT should have made a Quickfire thru LG for example instead of PCD. This is what happens when you cut corners.

There really was no way of telling if the Quickfire was going to be a piece of junk or not.

Many of us looked at the site(s) intensely, but there isn't any way of knowing which phones are going to be crap and which one are good based of initial reviews on AT&T's site sir. If i'm not mistaken, the LG Vu was supposed to be the best touchscreen phone, bar the iPhone, according to AT&T when it came out. That phone had more bugs than a little bit, and was quietly being replaced by the Eternity.
