Hmm, I think Tmo has the potential to reach the 40m customer mark by the end of 2010. BUT they need to get more 3G phones! ! !

I think Tmo should work with HTC to get a HTC Touch Pro2 with 1700 band.

Be sure to read the fine print. Some plans (maybe that one) have a catch. Example: people are recieving letters at home about a $39.99 1000 min plan. That plan has NO FREE NIGHT or WEEKENDS. Its a promotion plan though.

Anyway, just be sure to read the fine print so you know whats coming with the plan.

That is the employee plan. It was probably just a glitch and they would't let you switch to it.

Well It's been a glitch for over a month, they were supposed to call me about it. I also worked for a company that handled some of Tmobile care calls in another part of the company.Well While it lasts I'm gonna keep. it.

well i know that the sidekick 3 is on the way with 3G on it along with the G2, getting the new memoir this month with 3G and 8 meg camera and i have heard about HTC developing a phone called the tungsten wich looks to be alot like the touch pro and the replacement for the wing. no time on release yet that i could see. this looks like its going to be a good year for t-mobile and its customer base both new and old.

they need better coverage, then they should worry about their 3g, then new 3g phones.

but if they have 38 or 39 million now then 40 should be no problem by 2010

I think tmo needs to change their 3g band to something more universal.

T-mo is focusing on the 3g network actually there was a few guys from corp here 2 weeks ago and they told us that by the end of 2009 the 3g network is going to be a little over twice as big as it is now

I heard the same (but a little further out, i heard early 2010). Tmo is truely working hard to cover us on 3G. Keep in mind that its easier for everyone else then it is for Tmo. Tmo is the youngst out of the 4. They been playing catch up since they arrived. Slowly and smoothly Tmo has been making some big moves to shrink that lead.

Verizon has been around how long now? Telegrams anyone? lol. Stricktly speaking in theory, shouldnt they have the best coverage since they have had a line of service longer then anyone else in the game? (scratches head)

Anyway, I think Tmo has come a long way from being the youngst and newest cellphone service provider. 3G is coming soon enough. EDGE, for now, is doing me just fine. I can wait.....
