Nobody got anything to say about this? A $50 Unlimited Plan? Whats unlimited? Minutes? Text? Web? All of the Above? Is this T-Mobiles answer to Simply Everything?

Right now T-Mobile offeres Unlimited Everything (-web) for $99. At %50 this could be a huge step for T-Mobile.

Also, offering $135 to jump ship? They are pretty much paying off everyones disconnection fees. Most companys charge between $150-200 to break contract. At $135, they are making the choice to change companys a lot easier.

T-Mobile has been making a lot of powerful moves lately. I hope this $50 a month is for Unlimited Minutes & Text. Add a $25 Unlimited Data Only feature to that and you have a Unlimited Everything Plan for $75 a Month. Big!

This looks very Good, very promising and so very much inviting. This could save us and our customers about $30 off the bill average.

If/when this goes into effect, T-Mobile will have more then just a Sidekick or G1 exclusive.

It might come down to 2 types of plans. Unlimited and My Faves. Keep 1-2 Basic (or basic plus) plans and start kicking out those Unlimited Plans.

No Deposits (Flex Pay)
My Faves (Unlimited calling to 5 #'s)
Unlimited Plans @$49.99 (best in the league)
@Home Service ($10 a month phone)
Sidekicks & G1's (8900?)
#1 Customer Service Team (again)

ok I need to save myself and everyone in my dept a huge headache there are some very specific qualifications to be eligable
1. the account must be postpaid (not flex in any way)
2. you must be at 22months ban tenure
3. you must be in san francisco (not the next small town over)
4. sales in doing outbound calls and text messages telling people if they can add this plan

these are the most important qualifications if you dont meet these we cant add the rate plan, and im begging you call the right number misdirects hurt my income if you are just wanting to change rate plan 611 from you handset or 18009378997 from another phone this is customer cares number IF you want to add a line and port a number to get the account credit then call ...

All this is fine and good but let's not forget that T-Mobile has a below average coverage in the SF Bay Area with a lot of areas having no coverage.

Really? I've had T-Mobile for quite a while and have had no coverage issues at all. Matter of fact, I seem to have better coverage than my friends who are on AT&T. Do you know what area's specifically have coverage issues? Not trying to argue or invalidate what you're saying, there could be area's that I'm unaware of, but for the most part coverage has been just as good for me as when I was on Verizon.

$50 only gets you Unlimited Voice minutes. Nothing else. It does NOT include unlimited messages, data, or anything else.

That is understood, however $50 for UNLIMITED MINUTES is cheaper than $100 at all of the other carriers. It's still a great deal, and I hope they expand it to my area. Although I never go over 1500, I would love to know I can call as much as I please and not worry about going over. Woot! Goo Tmobile.

Major, major, major move by T-Mobile, if they play this game well they will be in great position for the future.

They also need more Windows Based Phones. The business/professional market is huge and they need to address the needs of this market segment.

Before switching had 3 lines on account (Oakland, LA, Miami) All unlimited voice and SMS - $100+50+50 = $200. Also had/have 3 BB addonss +60.
Now have unlimited voice for $130. Did add $5 SMS pkg. for one line. Still have BB pkgs. Saving over $60/mo. That is LARGE - like getting a couple months a year free.
I have been a heavy user in the Bay Area long before T-M came to Ca. Every carrier has its dead spots, especially with all the hills here. Coverage, overall, is equal to all the other carriers.
Miami, obviously, has no coverage problem since the nearest hill over 100' is probably 200 miles away!

Thanks for your Comment mike. That is amazing and Great News. $60? YES SIR! I did my numbers and I would save about $50. I did the numbers for my Employess and Co-workers. They would each save on average, $40. Did a few customers too. Same math, the very least was $28. Even then, Saving $28 on your bill is like getting the $25 Unlimited Data with 400 txt for FREE.

Good to see you saving. T-Mobile, Lets Stick Together. 🙂 I just like saying that. lol.

miami has no coverage problems because its a major city. most everything works in major cities. drive from miami to ft myers and tell me about coverage, even with 'no hills for 200 miles'.

miami, boston, tampa, philly, chi town, la, phonex, ect will all work fine, but driving from one to the other is where the problems start.

no before everyone thinks im a hater, i give props to t-mo for doin this. i hope it makes everyone else change their plans. t-mo sees the usa in a problem and looks to be doing something to help out. sh*t 2 lines with vzw is 200. so props to them for makin it 89. now if big red would follow suit.

And not just Big Red (Even though Im with T-Mobile and work for them, Im no fan boy. I want to see compatition. I want to compare offers and plans. I want options and I want my customers to have them). I hope EVERYONE else follows suit. With T-Mobile leading the way, Rate plans all across the board might get a price cut with all carriers. That would be amazing.

Someone had to step up and take some risks. Im proud to say it was T-Mobile. The youngst of the 4 biggest (att, verizon, sprint). The newest out the group. Making a big move. 🙂

SideNote: T-Mobile is also in on the movement to make a industry standered for cellphone chargers. 1st to invest in Android too. Bigg!
