I have to disagree with this reviewer on many points, though most of it is subjective, except for one...the four icons on the bottom of the screen actually can be modified (well, two of them can).

Just choose "customizable grid", then click "menu" and "edit", then you'll be able to change the two middle icons.

For me (coming from a G1, and testing out every other phone on the market, other than the Droid X), this phone is incredible, and honestly, I can't think of another better phone on the market. Is it perfect? No, but it's got so many things going for it (incredible screen, fast processor, and great UI enhancements, fantastic photos and video, and more).

I wish it had some sort of dpad, or at least had arrows for text selectio...

I agree with you this phone needs some sort of an optical track pad or trackball or whatever at the bottom and a flash would be nice but night mode works plenty well enough for me. This phone has more potential to me than the nexus one (I am a nexus one owner by the way) because of the gpu and hummingbird processor to go with 16gb hard drive so I know have 32gb of space and no worries for apps because of almost 2gb for app storage. No need for apps2sd like my nexus needs. Ive already tested out games and it definitely performs better than my nexus, the screen blows my nexus away. Ive put HD movies on it that would make my nexus crash and it plays them and looks amazing. I will miss the easy modding of my nexus and the huge community bu...
