Verizon Wireless Changes Test Drive and New Every Two Programs
Too much money
Veizon is just being greedy pulling stuff like this! They offer zero incentive to stay with them.
Their minutes are so expensive and if you want anything else it cost too much money!
Hell tmobile offers BB service for 20 bucks! and myFave which is really helpful and at a much better price, even ATT lowered their mediaNet rates to 10 bucks! if you get the 30 dollar family txt plan, which is another great deal! And they offer roll over, and the option of 7 pm nights! Verizon a big fat nothing! Taking away or reducing NE2 is just ridicules! Hell and look at sprint they give you 1500 minutes, 7pm nites, BB service for 130 buck! Now that is a great deal. forget all the hater comments about sprint because they work well and ...

2) Verizon offers free calling at anytime to 80 million customers nationwide. Rollover and early nights are kind of pointless if all your calls are included anyway.
3) Rollover is only a great deal if you go a few months using hardly any minutes and then use a ton the next month. most of the people ive talked to with ATT have 12,000+ rollover minutes, meaning they will NEVER use them. Verizon allows you to change your plan at any time without extending your contract.
4) Sprint is losi...

1) Media net is for dumbphones. Email and web for att is still 30. You can get unlimited data on dumphones for verizon for 10 as well. Both plans require unlimited texting (20 a month single, 30 a month family). it is called the Connect plan

Hello.
Every plan includes free ROAMING.
Meaning I can easily select from (3) choices on my cellular device:
a) To exclusively use the Sprint network (where available)
b) To auto roam between Verizon and Sprint
c) Simply select 'Force Roam' on my data card or phone to exclusively use the Verizon network.
For FREE - they never enforce caps. We have a 24/7 streaming video camera that works using a Sprint data card - solely on Verizon EVDO REV-A in my area. We had 105 GB of data transfer last month on one of the laptop aircards.
Verizon TERMINATED me for actually exceeding their previously invisible bandwidth caps - I signed up back when they were still advertising "UNLIMITED DATA TRANSFE...

4) Sprint is losing millions of customers a year. A sinking company always bottoms out their their pricing in an effort to gain customers. The fact that their numbers are still falling shows that people care about more than the cost.
5) You get what you pay for. This is why verizon uses "its the network." People want to be able to use their cellphones. If you can't use your cell where you need it, who gives a rip about how much you are saving on it? If I offered you a phone that got unlimited calling to anyone at any time for $25 a month but it only worked in your basement...

Haha! Sprints cdma service sucks! Sprint will be dead by 2012 because verizon will start shuting off cdma service for LTE. Lol!
Move along. Nothing to see here, folks. tylerrocks09 is incapable of making a rational argument.

Sprint does not own that many towers. In fact, they sold a huge chunk of their towers to a third party. This makes them a virtual provider.
They are a CDMA service, and the largest provider of CDMA coverage is Verizon/Alltel (plus sprints former towers that they sold) This means they depend on Verizon's towers to maintain their network.
Verizon is moving to LTE technology, which is an evolution of GSM technology while sprint is doing WIMAX. Once verizon has converted their customer base over to LTE they will start shutting off their CDMA towers.
This means that Sprints network will shrink unless they can push out WIMAX faster than a City a year.
So yes, sprint will start losing a ...

No, Ricky Ricardo, you do not get to 'splain anything to me because you do not understand the situation yourself.
Sprint is not a "virtual provider." Sprint owns tens of thousands of cell sites (CDMA, iDEN, or both).
Sprint owns some cell towers. And Sprint sold some cell towers. But Sprint did not ...

Yes, the problem w/ allowing VZW to further its dominance is that its mobile to mobile and native coverage "gravity" is growing so fat that other carriers (besides similarly obese AT&T) eventually may be unable to compete on even remotely level terms. That would effectively reduce us back to the (pre PCS 1900 MHz, pre AWS 2100+1700 MHz) days of Cellular 850 MHz duopoly, when there were only two competitive carriers per market. And that lack of vigorous competition would not be, to quote FCC mandate, "in the public interest."

Considering they sold "nearly all" their remaining towers, they can't have that big of a native network, can they?
and they would be stupid to continue with wimax if they are the only carrier doing it, so I would hope that they would be "not sold" on it yet.
there has to be a story there.
4)Sprint is losing CDMA customers as well. And a lot of their iDEN contracts were business accounts which are cash cows for companies. Losing those affects your CDMA market. Sprint also scored DEAD LAST in a customer service pool down by JD power and associates. Great customer service, eh?
5)Verizon has posted a net growth. That means after other carrier acquisitions are taken into account. Their churn also does not include acquired contrac...

so unless they are changing their plans and not updating their website, my math is correct.
and i also beg to disagree about pricing ...
i guess u failed to understand the features of the plan..
simply everything is 99.99 calling, txt, data unlimited
cheapest everything plan is 450 everything. 69.99 450 minutes unlitxt and DATA.
and everything data family is 19.99 per add-a-line from 3rd-5th line..that shares the minutes, unlitxt, and unlidata...the only add-on needed to that is insurance...and maybe nyts starting at 6pm which i believe verizon doesnt have...
appreciate your reading our website..but..i guess you checked out the WRONG website.. 🙂
P.S.
are you sure that $50 a month that you'll be saving on sprint dont matter?..your rich man 😎

What good is saving money on a service that doesn't work where you need it to?
Only carriers that work well up here are Verizon and ATT, and of those two only verizon offers high speed data access currently.
If all I cared about was the cost of the plan, I could get an unlimited everything plan from a local carrier for 50 a month. But then my phone wouldn't work half the time, and it would only have a chance of working in 9 counties. Prices are only truly competative when the service offered is similar.
Oh, and for Verizon's premium plan (450 minutes, unlimited data, texting, vz navigator, and mobile em...

you don't do 30 warrenty exchanges. after you reach a certain number they give you a new phone. Also, if you were having that many issues with. The fact that you are claiming this occurred over 5 months also calls you into suspect because that kind of stuff can be tracked.
Also, if you service was that poor, phone service is generally not offered in those areas. Why? because if a network cannot guarentee service in an area they cannot hold you to a contract. That is why Tmobile isn't offered where I live even though there are some towers that work with them. The service is not consistent enough to make it worth it for Tmobile. If your service was tha...

1) Tmo BB service is now $25 with 400 text or $35 with unlimited, and none of their BB are 3G
2) Verizons rates are EXACTLY THE SAME as AT&T minus the rollover. Besides Rollover is a phantom value, they don't stay forever, they run out eventually. And if you go over that often, you need a different rate plan.
3) Verizon lowered their data plan for dumbphones to $10 first before ATT if you get unlimited text
4) Sprint "has been going thru a tough time" for 7 years now and they are still in trouble. Dirt cheap service doesn't cover their awful customer service.
