The frequencies being vacated will be used by the winners of the most recent 700MHz auction (among others) to deploy new & additional services. VZW and AT&T come to mind, as they plan to deploy their 4G LTE network in the 700 MHz spectrum. In addition, Qualcomm is planning to deploy their MediaFLO network (mobile TV) in some of these channels as well.

The reason they are not educated is because they must not be watching their TVs therefore they won't be affected. Just my opinion. 👿

I've always had cable also. Plus, both my tv's are pretty new. I still say they should have kept the original change date. Is it other people's fault they ran out of money and coupons? They have advertised this for soooooo long, that I can't believe most people would not be ready. I guess I can see both sides, but I still say, they should have kept it for Feb. 17th!! EVERYONE had PLENTY of time!!
