I do believe some of the issue arose with not having the funds for the public to get the converter boxes at a discount.

That's tough for them. If those morons chose to procrastinate then paying full price for the converters would be a good punishment. Thankfully the stations here in southwest Florida agree and are switching on Feb 17th as planned. This is just another reminder of how many lazy stupid people we have out there. The forum here should start a pool as to when in about May or so they are going to come up with another excuse to delay it and what month at the end of the year they will try it again. This is just going to go on and on.

You are correct go to the dtv2009.gov website and it says this when you apply

Online Coupon Application Submission
IMPORTANT:
We have determined that your household is eligible to participate in this program. However, at this time program funding is not currently available to fulfill your request. Your application has been placed on a waiting list. You do not need to apply again. When and if funds become available, coupon requests will be fulfilled on a first-come, first-served basis.
