Sound Quality (muffled) and number of screens (configurable)

by drwiremore    Jul 8, 2010, 11:17 AM

Sound quality: slightly muffled. Would you clarify if this is what you heard (speaker, speaker-phone, headset) or what the other person hears (microphone.)

Paranoid The reason I ask, is that the Motorola support forums, and my practical experience with the Droid (1 / Classic) is a muffled sound (microphone) heard by the other party. It seems to be user specific in that all of the people (20%-40% of users) who have reported muffled sound, when trying a different (or multiple) Motorola Droids, still had the muffled sound issue. The majority of users (60-80%)are not reporting muffled sound issues. Surprised Motorola has not acknowledged this as an issue; but believes if there is a "muffled perception" it is most likely location specific, how you hold the phone, or just that, user perception. Number of Screens: Is this configurable? By that I mean it is "neat" that you can have 7 screens. But if you don't need or want 7 screens,

1) can you configure say only 4 screens displaying.

2) do the screens loop? If you have 7 screens, can you continue thru to the 1st screen. Or if you can have less than 7 screens, say 4, can you move from screen 4 > 1 as in "looping?"

Thanks
