I'm surprised it took them this long.
I have to agree with stoopered WiMax has a ton of support worldwide and is going to continue to spread coverage and increase capability for more then just the mobile community. You can kiss the need for hot spots goodbye. 😎

Nortel is a classic example of a company that couldn't figure out until it was almost too late what it's core competencies were and run with them. They had their hands in so many things with no real clear focus that they imploded.

If you follow my posts, you know that I am a huge WiMAX supporter. The problem isn't with the lack of articles on WiMAX. Its just that LTE has so much more support and it unfortunately has become the world standard just as GSM has which gives it the edge. The best we can hope for is that WiMAX succeeds as formidable competition. You know and I know that WiMAX is underated. the problem is that the marketing for LTE was pushed...
