Iphone advantages over EVO. (from reading reviews, including phonescoop's review. I don't have either devices)

I posted this on a few replies elsewhere, but would like to see what others think. I am not saying the iphone is a better phone. I am just listing advantages. Someone may list EVO advantages as well if they'd like.

1) Battery life!!!
2) Screen resolution
3) Camera- megapixels not as high, but takes pictures better in different light levels and much quicker.
3) HD video- records video better than any other hd capable phone
4) Gaming- reviewer stated it rivals PSP and Nintendo DS
5) Ease of use
6) Internet page loading- said its faster than any other smartphone. He also said he was surprised 3g could go that fast.
7) Fas...

EVO has way better battery if used properly! As far as the 4G only 4x faster, IT'S STILL 4X FASTER! WiMax has more potential but why raise the bar when right now it's the fastest network. Sprint will raise the bar When LTE launches. Do some real homework & check out the 4G rev. 2. And about LTE being faster, of course records indicate LTE is faster when you transfer one packet of info on an unused network compared to a network that has several hundred attempts each hour. As for HD video record, the EVO will record @ 720P. As far as lag, add the running services icon on main screen & stop unwanted apps from running. In the real world, the EVO is faster.

Also, I see on the iPhone you can video chat. But to other iPhones. The EVO will chat t...

You know, I don't really see much incorrect in that post. Evo does not have better battery, under any circumstances. I have both phones in front of me and I've been using both on and off for the past few days.

It's fine to talk about how fast WiMAX could be, but I believe that about as much as I believe the LTE predictions, which is to say I'll believe it when I see it. So far, Sprint has not delivered on WiMAX's promise, and when most parts of a WiMAX covered city don't see speeds better than good HSDPA, can you really call the city covere?

The Evo camera is lousy compared to the iPhone 4. For still images and for video. The Evo 4G has the worst HD camcorders I've seen on a phone, and I've seen just about all of them.

The Evo is ...

watch out now, the android and HTC will come after you for that.

both devices are great devices, i love my iPhone 4. the screen is unreal when I had my 3GS and iPhone 4 next to each other.
it all comes down to what people like better, i personally like my iPhone more than any other android phone. it just does "it" for me.

Easily, all you have to do is perform real world tests for yourself or watch the ones on the net. You can also read all the spec reviews that indicate facts contrary to his post. He took one vague statement from one review and distorted it beyond belief.
