Yeah, I work for Sprint and I am seriously afraid for this one. I don't work for the busier stores in my city (Service and Repair) so I am getting very worried. For a while, I was just happy that I had a job that paid me pretty well, but now I am worried of being unemployed...something I didn't think I would have to worry about. This blows.

whatever happens... im glad i got my tuition reinbersement early... if they make me leave due to this it would be good because i was considering internship anyways, and i dont have to pay them back... still get discounted plans but not as good as employees and eh... it has a good run but id rather not work for sprint for the rest of my life. so not so worried about it

Although it sucks for those employee's, it's necessary in today's economy, and to maintain cheaper rates than both AT&T and Verizon. Yet Sprint still has a higher rated Network for data AND call quality than both AT&T and Verizon, check all of the independent study's. Right now they also have a higher Customer Service rating than both company's, AT&T's customer service is a joke and Verizon is as poorly rated as Sprint was. Dan Hesse has to do damage control for the old CEO, and this was just necessary. Thanks for opening your mouth and making a moron out of yourself for everyone to enjoy. You're absolutely right. All the customers and carrier fanatics see is the service side of it, but just think of what it was like for employees working for Sprint. There is a reason all of us love Dan Hesse and hated Gary Foresee. I'm sorry, but everything that is wrong with the company is because of that man. When his VP's took over (Saleh) as CEO we saw a huge change in only a few months. Hesse has done even more.
Yes, some jobs need to be loss. Take my district for example. There are a ton of legacy Sprint and Nextel stores within blocks of each other. There is a store right across the street from me that I have to compete with. Close some of those stores and there is a big problem solved right there.

your claims are rediculous. Verizon finished in first place on Jd power for customer service and retail customer satisfaction and they (with alltel) were first in 5/6 regions for call quality. sprint won one region and in that region verizon was rated a 4/5. in the 5 that vzw/alltel won sprint was at like a 2/5 at the bottom.

Wow, you brought up 1 of my claims?! And Sprint and Verizon were tied over-all for Call quality, so technically I am correct.
