Last time I checked all or most OTA channels are currently in HD. So that make your whole comment invalid. Then you contradicted yourself. Why would anyone buy a tv with an analog tuner when analog is about to be cut off soon. It makes more sense to buy a hd tv especially since you can find them cheap these days.
And just for the record I have Direct Tv but watch my local channels in HD.
