Both phones have a bulge in the back, that's it. Big deal

you're going to have to try a LOT harder than that.

1) you don't sell or have verizon
2) you've made your point insanely clear that you consider android to be an inferior choice to the iphone
3) your device of choice is the iphone

and yet on TWO separate articles today about this device, you found it necessary to post a negative comment (just like Blue), and you continue to do so on the main news release. and both of you fail to make any valid points.

So why are you doing it? What does it add to the discussion?

I'll answer that for you: nothing

They're trolls, they want your reaction because obviously they have nothing better to do.

1. I own the Motorola Droid on Verizon. I hate it. My girlfriend now has it (she wants me to cancel it and add her onto my AT&T account with the new iPhone...)

-I have also carried just about every iteration of Android software and hardware available for my job (currently I'm using the Motorola Cliq, I don't have a MyTouch slide demo yet or a Garmin though I'd love to have the former of the two) I've played with the MyTouch slide a lot and I absolutely love it. I'll take it over the EVO any day, and thats not a word of lie. For most people it works awesome. (didn't I say exactly that in some other post today???? but I "hate android phones?")

2. I love Android, hate the constant name-calling a lot of it's on-line fans constantly use as...

I totally saw someone say "fandroid" in reference to people who don't like iPhones, so it goes both ways. Thinking the iPhone is better than any of the android phones is fine, but theres where issues arise, I genuinly think your opinion on the matter is wrong, and thats *fine* because you're the same way. most people I know who own the iPhone have some sort of weird smug sense of satisfaction knowing that they own one, just last night I downloaded an awesome app for my droid that lets me use it as a mouse for my computer, the first response I got (everyone who followed suit was an iPhone user, btw) was "So? The iPhone had that a long time ago." Now, wouldn't you be a little bored with crap like that, which, lets be honest here...it happens o...

I do get bored with that "my phone can already do that" crap.

I'll give you the smug factor. I am actively smug about the fact that I own an iPhone, and sometimes I'm a douche about it. long un-necessary story alertYesterday my girl was a little frustrated that, while looking up smoothie recipes, her Motorola Droid wasn't loading, and while driving the car I quickly typed it up and loaded a page full of recipes. She then asked me why mine worked faster and I said "because it's an iPhone" (the real reason was that AT&T had particularly better coverage in the town we were in in rural PA)

In all fairness Apple runs a multi-million dollar "look at what our phone can do" campaign and Verizon runs a billion dollar "your phone can't ...

I dunno, I just don't understand where the sense of "everyone else has to fail for apple to succeed", I mean, I just got bump on my phone and my brother just got hoccer on his; we can share data in some of the coolest ways possible accross the Android and iPhone platforms, we both think that is *awesome* other people shrug it off and say that the iPhone runs it better. URRRGGGGHHHH, also, screw hipsters.

And here I am, running Windows Mobile. 😛

I've broken away from the crowd. I can run Android on my phone when I want, and I can also go and make my own custom ROM of Windows on my phone. 😛

I can make it uberfast, or I can load it to the brim with featurez. In the end, it works quite well for me. What having Remote Desktop and stuff, and being able to upload and download any file I want on the interwebs.

See, I love stuff like that; I've read that TI has created the framework to install WinMo on the omap cpu in the original droid. so we could both do that on our phones!
