B. This article is terribly written. It says that data/web etc is 10.00 for Nextel phones and 20.00 for Nextel Direct Connect capable phones. All Nextel phones are Direct connect capable. It should be written correctly as Direct Connect on Sprint (DCS) and Powersource phones are 20.00 extra for web services. So essentially. You are paying for a Nextel device 29.99 to begin with 10.00 for web/gps navigation and another 30.00 for the 500.00 anytime minutes. (BTW the anytime minutes are add ons not stand alone plans.) total 69.99 which technically puts you back at the simply everythign 450, with the exception that minutes are pooled. 2 Nextel phones with 500 shared minutes and unlimited data would cost you 29.99*2+10.*2+30.00=110.xx And for The DSC and Powersource phones it's even more expensive because the data is based off of Sprints data which is much faster than Nextel. Overall not a very good deal, but it does offer customer to customize their plan.
