What about rehasing all the plans for us regular folks... Bring back the free incoming.....Get rid of those crappy 450,900 minute plans... Come on now, bring back Nextel

I agree with you mdavino. Bring back the free incoming plans. I have been with Nextel since 1999. That was the selling technique for nextel

Any Nextel Plan sucks now. Nextel is pointless when Boost is offering $50 unlimited everything nationwide plan.

Eh, I don't know. If you get a Boost plan, you have to get one of their horrible phones. One could argue that Nextel Phones aren't that great, but nowadays they have some pretty nice looking phones.

I still think getting rid of the Free Incoming Plans were a mistake. It's hard to get folks to switch to anything else. Oh well.

Yep, ANY Nextel phone that takes a SIM you can get a Boost starter kit for $20 and you are set for $50 unlimited INCLUDING TAX. ONLY catch is you obviously have to have the $50 on your account at the beginning of every billing cycle. Amazing deal, Cricket really has no reason to exist anymore with their lousy coverage and 4x the dropped calls of Boost believe it or not.

Getting rid of the free incoming was better overall for the company. While, the free incoming was a seller for Nextel, it was also a weak point. Part of Sprints recovery plan was to align itself as close as possible with other companies. That way people could never use the excuse of well this company offers more minutes(exception T-Mobile). Verizon, AT&T and Sprint now offer all the same plan with very few variants, AT&T offers rollover, Sprint offers the everything plans and Verizon, offers a digitally animated commercial about how many people work for their network. Most people here are smart we understand unlimited incoming, other people however look at it like this...

Have you actually read the terms and conditions for their "Unlimited" plan?

At their sole discretion, they reserve the right to cancel your service if you use too many minutes or use too many text messages.

Looks like unlimited is not really unlimited with them...
