Pro Delay Sucks

by niknou    Jan 29, 2009, 8:20 AM

Ok so I know they are coming out with this new Palm Pre which "IF" sprint ever gets it I will purchase.....I have the palm 800w right now and love it, just love it so when it leaked about the 850 pro coming out I keep on all the sites checking on when the phone would be released....I got one to make you think.....I just got called up yesterday by sprint to let me know that they will credit my account the $374.00 and give me a $25.00 Credit for my Inconvenience since last Thursday the 22nd I happen to be checking the sprint website and seen the 850 pro on it with rebates and all the phone will be $550.00 although with all the rebates it will be 250 after everything is taken away special for phone and $100 mail in I checked on it Friday Saturday and Monday bc on friday they said back order for a week and then Monday when I called they said it will be shipped out on the 28th NOW I get a call saying they are sold out at the warehouse and it will come out late Feb..and this is the thing when I seen it on Thursday the 22nd on the sprint website by time I got downstairs to my office computer they had already pulled the phone off the site....SO how is it a phone that made it to the website for less than 30 mins is sold out across the board???? is it bc of a recall? is it bc of the palm pre making so much new? what is it does anyone work for sprint know anything about this??? I doubt if bc every single time I called a sprint retailer no one knew anything about this phone some didn't even know it Existed someone please give me some info on this???
