True. However, what other retailer can you name that sends such a staggering amount of business to China?

None. 'Kay.

Nearly all toys are made in China now so you can add such retailers as Toys R Us to you "avoid" list.

Your failure to understand why we are in a global recession is probably understandable because it is a complex issue and using simplistic descriptions about why we are in one can't be done.

Outsourcing has been going on for longer than you have been alive. The same arguments were raised about the evil Japanese empire decades ago and then Korea and India now China and soon Thailand and Vietnam, etc.

No root cause of a global recession with outsourcing and I am certainly not causing it Laughing

Go on paying your higher prices for goods and support those you think need to be supported, but this Walmart fetish of yours and it being the root of all evil mentality is narrow minded at the very least.

The money I saved shopping at Walmart (I hate them anyway because it it a pain in the @ss to find what I want there Laughing ) probably would have gone to having lunch down the street at a nice local restaraunt, whereas you my friend would have been broke and hungry shopping elsewhere.

Bottom line is that some countries are better than others at producing goods or services. If you throw narrow minded protectionist attitudes into the mix and stop things like you would like, you will have an economic collapse. Just ask The former Soviet Union about how their false economy worked out.
