Not to mention enjoy your Made in China pieces of crap with your low low price
I happen to hate WallyWorld myself, but to be honest, you can go elsewhere and spend more for the same crappy Chinese products.

Thank you NewEgg.com!!
I've been a customer of Newegg for seven years. One thing I can't praise them for is their quality of customer service, but in a good way. In the seven years as a customer, I have never once had to contact them. I have never experienced a problem with them, so in a way, it's an absolute Kudos to Newegg for working so well as a business that I as a customer have never needed to utilize any form of customer service.
I once bought a Macbook Pro from Provantage. The price (and shipping) were absolutely amazing. I ordered it in the morning, and by 1:00 I had the UPS tracking number in my email. Not only was it there, but when I had clicked on it, UPS had already received it. I ordered it on a Friday and got it on Tuesday with free ground shipping. Kudos to Provantage and UPS on that one. I paid $1600 for a 17" Macbook Pro from Provantage, but if I walked into Circuit City, I would have paid $2700 for the exact same model.
I definitely would not have dropped $1100 on *one* item to shop at a store lo...

BTW, don't shop at Walmart. I know it is hard given their discounts but they are going to run this country into the ground. They buy a majority of their goods from China who could very easily flood the market with our money and send our economy into its final death throes. If Walmart were a company it would be the 4th largest importer of Chinese goods.

There are plenty of low-life idiots out there who ARE "happy" Circuit City has gone under though, and my reply is for them. Now go home and get your fu**in' shinebox.

OP is a moron. 34k people out of jobs, at least triple that number and you'll have a more accurate idea of who will be devastated by this.

This is funny, but at the same time your ignorant of the world has already become.
China makes a significant portion of...oh..anything and everything these days.

None. 'Kay.
You should try reading a post not reading INTO a post. I never suggested that we not purchase Chinese goods, that would be virtually impossible, I simply suggested avoiding Walmart. Walmart purchases nearly 10% of China's exports... that is staggering. "Feeding the Walmart monster" is far from the end of the world, the collapse of the American Dollar is far from the end of the world, the vacuum of outsourced goods leading to American job cuts is far from the end of the world... but they are going to have a devastating impact. They are inherently tied together and the sooner you, claiming to be world-wise, realize ...

True. However, what other retailer can you name that sends such a staggering amount of business to China?
None. 'Kay.
Nearly all toys are made in China now so you can add such retailers as Toys R Us to you "avoid" list.
Your failure to understand why we are in a global recession is probably understandable because it is a complex issue and using simplistic descriptions about why we are in one can't be done.
Outsourcing has been going on for longer than you have been alive. The same arguments were raised about the evil Japanese empire decades ago and then Korea and India now China and soon Thailand and Vietnam, etc.
No root cause of a global recession with outsourcing and I am ...

Again, I didn't say not buy Chinese products. Are you daft or do you just enjoy arguing with what you perceive to be my beliefs?
"Your failure to understand why we are in a global recession is probably understandable because it is a complex issue and using simplistic descriptions about why we are in one can't be done."
Again, your inability to do anything but assume proves that you haven't actually read my posts. You assume that I am placing the blame squarely on outsourcing, which I haven't.

They were a crappy store anyways. No one shopped there whenever I went in. If you ain't walmart then your not working for me.. Low low low prices. What? Say Who? Low prices! Always, Walmart!! Hahaha ๐
The above quote made me realize that now, to a lot of people, not just products, but stores have become commoditized. Most stores are part of either large corporate chains or they are independently owned franchises of large corporate brands.
Take the average consumer, aged 18-25, and ask them if they are extremely loyal to a particular store. The name of the store probably doesn't matter to them, but factors such as price, convenience, selection, and hours probably do.
There ...
