NEW ORLEANS residents got a week and a half worth of warnings to get out of town and those who stayed paid the price but blamed Bush. Now we have had 2 YEARS worth of warnings and some have not bothered to act.
So we have another democrat echo what Hussein obama stated that he wanted to delay. ITS ABOUT MONEY not about helping any poor souls who didnt act until last month.

well you are right about money but its not about anyone making money its about ppl saving money if your are laid off or have a fixed income regardless of if you acted before now or not your still looking at 60.00+ for one of thez boxes it really falls blame on the government for sending out cards for ppl to save on boxes and not have the funds to back the cards and from what i understand if att and verizon want to use the frequency they still can the only hold would be if the carriers wait so the blame game with ppl not hurrying is getting old its not the ppls fault and Katrina the ppl didnt blame bush they where coming down on fema wow politics on phone scoop who loves them 🙄

Who owns the broadcast spectrum?
How much have TV broadcasters paid for use of that spectrum?
Who decided to transition our broadcast system from NTSC to ATSC?
Who profited from the auction of spectrum freed in that transition?
Thus, it became our government's responsibility when our government decided to dismantle the current NTSC system of free OTA TV so that it could profit nearly $20 billion from the auction of public airwaves made available by the transition to ATSC free OTA TV.

First off you sound like a jackass. You obviously dont know what the hell you are talking about. First off no one blamed Bush for Katrina. People blamed the Government for not acting swiftly on a natural disaater. It shouldn't take the government an entire week before deciding to act especially when your own citizens are in a dire situation. Futhermore there were tons of reasons to why people were not able to get out of town. Everone are not in a position to freely leave when they want too.

Its a fact those New Orleans had ample notice about the hurricane and those that didnt not leave blamed bush and the government for not helping them.
As for those that have not yet switch TAKE CARE OF YOURSELF AND GET OUT OF MY POCKET.

Yes I have been in a Hurricane in an other country and was still able to get out of town with 3 day notice and so was the entire population or the effected area expect for military. (CHINA)
I have been in tornados (midwest) and earthquakes (cali) and needed NO HELP thank you. I took and have taken the time to VOLUNTEER to help those that were in need that was my choice. I wonder if those that call for the government to do more such as yourself have ever taken the time to volunteer.
