Motorola a little late with a true touch screen

I guess they haven't heard that touch screen phones are all of the craze!?!?!? I'm not saying it was the down fall but come on, even LG stepped up with a great touch screen. (The Dare) I have owned nothing but Motorola phones but when you can't keep up you you become the small dog in the pen.

They've had great touchscreens in Asia for years. They're just starting to bring them to the US now, but they haven't really developed the OS and applications much in recent years to catch up with the iPhone and Pre UI's and application support. Before the iPhone, they were some of the best phones I've ever used.

Now it's really kind of hard to compete on their own platform and it's really smart of them to focus on Android (though Android really needs a nicer UI, it just doesn't look as polished as the iPhone or the Pre). Their other issue, at least outside of Asia, is that they can never keep up feature for feature with other manufacturers, so I'm not sure that even with Android, they'll be able to keep up.

Yep, late in every area that they can be. Android? Keep hearing everyone talking about it.
