no - actually they do not have the right. One must opt-in to receving any information for any purpose, or it is considered unsolicited bulk email/or TEXT in this case. You have to read up on what is what when it comes to this issue. CAN-SPAM2000 - google it.

What they did was leverage their client base to whore out to the television network and get better ratings. ATT sucks shank.
