Boy you guys really should make sure you pay more attention before posting. If you had actually read my post you would see it was discussion of the man and not the products themselves.

Steve was a hippy that wanted nothing more than to do away the rigid conformity of society and had his own personal vendetta against IBM. Watch an episode of "Leave it to Beaver" and see the very nature of what Steve was against.

I was merely pointing out that Steve had come to embody some of the very evils he preached against. (note I never doubted that he was successful or that they dont make a quality product) The policy of 3rd party iphone software forcing you to use what "the man" wants is a standard of forced conformity, the very thing that supposedly made Jobs retch in disgust during the 60's. How quaint.
