Good news for all alltel customers, yet...confusing because i have no idea what to do. With little to no information about the merger to me from alltel, i find it to be quite bad business.

I wouldn't worry about it too much, it's only been a few minutes since it closed. It's not as if all Alltel customer will have to replace their phones and have the rebranding done by midnight.

There are still 105 markets that Verizon *must* divest, there could be a few more that Verizon could use for a market swap, too.

Just wait it out and I'm sure you'll receive written information in the mail.

I think he is talking about att, because for how often the typical consumer travels out of the country, it is MUCH more important to have service in Denmark instead of in rural PA, right? 🙄

Actually the amish are VERY profitable customers.

Amish communities are led by a Deacon. That Deacon is the one that decides what technology is allowed within the community, and what it is to be used for.

For most of the communities in PA, things like computers, Trucks, landlines, and the like CAN be used as long as they are not in the house and they are used for a business.

At least until 2007, Cellphones weren't even "Banned." Generally when a new technology comes out the amish allow a time of testing to see if they will adopt it or not. While they end up rejecting most things, they don't reject all. The amish are not stupid. They know that communication is very important to run a successful business.

What does this mean...

I live in Pa and I sell a crapload of phones to the Mennonite community. So I care about coverage here. And @ semlo, I'd be a little nicer about the Amish. They provide alot for the community. If there weren't Amish around do you have any idea where'd you get you beef and pork, eggs, milk and cheese. You really aren't very educated at all. But I guess you're cool cuz you're a DJ. 🤣 🤣
