A reliable source told us a while ago that this phone might be the first and last Magx phone with 3G. They were having trouble with 3G + Magx, which is why this model has been so delayed (we first reported on it about a year ago.)

The trouble they were having with 3G + Magx, supposedly led to a strategic decision to phase out Magx. That may be why you've heard rumors about Moto fast-tracking Android phones.

I wouldn't say it's "not compatible". The rumor is just that they've had trouble getting it working. Apparently they did get it working with this one phone, though.

I hope so. Att is kinda behind in terms of "rugged" phones. The Rugby's a good phone but I think there is room for improvment. IMO
