I'm no droid fan, I want the Touch Pro 2.
But BB needs to step their game up and stop trying to cater to the minority such as yourself (10% of people who are ok with BB's current state) otherwise they will be nothing more then a company that has 10% market share.
If you aim to cater to 10% then eventually you will be 10%. Why not aim for the masses? Numbers show that BB is loosing market share every quarter and yet they continue with same ol' stuff.
I have no sorrow for a ignorant company. I hope they don't fail, my GF loves the bb (She is part of the minority) and I know the economy needs them but come on. Slider, touch screen, flip from the side, something, he11 anything other then this same hardware and OS that looks the same for 5 years or how ever long its been.
Look at Palm with Palm Os. They waited to long to come out with Web OS. now they RIP.
