This technically is not a bad idea. Many people today still use dial-up for their internet simply because their lifestyle does not require high-speed. This would actually be a wireless replacement and with higher speeds.

The carrier could offer this free internet as a bonus for signing on with them. Then the consumer can always switch up to high- speed later. It is all on how you market this.

I agree with you, the customer should have to sign up for service in order to get free internet. You know the end users are going to be the ones eating the cost for this little endever. Internet is a want not a need. You want internet, you should have to pay for it. Just like I and everyone else has to. Martin is so whacked and his moral compass is so skewed Im surprised he can even make to work in the morning.
