Thats right. Because TMO doesn't have any blackberries...

Like the Curve, or the Pearl, or the Pearl Flip. Let alone all the earlier version of the BB's. Or even any windows mobile phones, like the shadow, dash, wing, or mda. Of course, they don't have any of the palms, which isn't really a big deal considering palm is dying a slow and painful death...

And now what, they have the G1 and they are a "testy dummy"?

How many carriers have been a test dummy? The answer is all of them. And how many times? Hundreds of times, with hundreds of new phones.

AT&T got the iPhone, and it has had some problems, but because of updates, most problems have been fixed.

Verizon is currently the test dummy for the storm, and while not all problems have been fixed yet, they are constantly updating the software, and soon enough will have most features fixed.

Sprint? Well the instinct would be one I could think of. And the reviews aren't generally all that great. Actually, they are well below the averages that the G1 has been getting.

My point though? It doesn't matter what company you are talking about, all of them have tested something, and as such being a "test dummy" is not necessarily a good/bad thing.

On the other hand though... Sprints insistance that they want to "wait until the technology is better" or whatnot, is actually hurting them. A high profile phone like the G1, with a big name like Google behind it, would bring a lot of attention, AND CUSTOMERS, to Sprint. There would be no downside to them carrying an android phone, but there are many positives.

I get the feeling though, that you guys wont care one bit about what I wrote, because it seems you are all in bed with Sprint, and will look past all their flaws, no matter how true they are.

Waiting on android is dumb, for every 1 person that has a serious problem 99 are very happy with the phone. If sprint could get a phone that has that sort of name recognition, and that great of useability, they would be stupid to pass up on it... which means they are stupid, because they did pass up on it.
