It just needs to forment. Every new product needs time at the wheel to polish their skills. Android is as new as you get and is a risk. I commend Sprint for waiting. They don't need extra headaches.

Amen! This is exactly what I've been trying to preach to the "Where's all the new cool phones on Sprint" crowd. They don't realize that Sprint can't afford to release garbage like the Boulder or Storm at this point in time with finances they way they are.

yeah losing five million customers and counting, and closing stores and call centers can really strap a company 🤣 but hey sprint is the bomb company with the best of everything and the cheapest prices but still noone wants them 🙂

You remind me of one of those dolls that when you pull the string out of its back it says the same thing over and over. Seriously, your stuff is so old man. Why are you even in here? That would be comparable to me owning a Zune and spending all my time in an I-Pod forum. Aren't there mods in here that can do anything about this enormous tool?

Well ATT took a chance with Apple and look how it turned out. The Storm even with its hiccups is still one of VZ's hottest selling devices. If none of Sprint's devices had problems then I would agree with you but their devices have just as many issues as the other carriers. All I am saying is that at least at VZ if the Storm is crap I get to choose from the Dare, Krave, & Omnia. Choices are all we want 🙂

While I'll agree that the iPhone was a success, lets hold off on what we say about the Storm. The phone sold a lot initially due to hype, but the question remains is how many were actually kept. Also, it would be good to see how well they do for the overall quarter with the "shortages" and negative feedback on the phone itself.

The Dare and Krave aren't all that much better than the Instinct from Sprint, they each have their strong points; however, IMO, the Omnia is currently the best subsidized WM phone and one of the best smartphones out in the US market.

It's extrememly difficult to compare an Android device to the Iphone. When the iphone debuted, it was a revolutionary touchscreen device with capabilities never really seen before. The Android plaform, while potentially great, is still in its infancy and hasn't shown or proven that it will be a success or have the ability to drive customers to it.
