Verizon Wireless users are used to paying for things other providers throw in for free. The only thing I can think of that's similar to this charge is with the iPhone Apple requires .Mac if you want to use the 'built in' online galleries, except there are 8 billion other free apps for Flickr uploads.

Hell, Sprint INCLUDES unlimited online photo storage for ALL of your photos.

C'mon, gotta love the crippled UI, inability to install 3rd party software, and uses-your-sms-limit IM.
