You forget RIM demographic, it's not iPhone wielding kids who want to blog and check they're myspace, it's business people who need long lasting batteries and great email apps.
3G simply won't cut it with it's battery power, high speed web browsing has NEVER been a huge demand for business crowd, most simply need email and good sound quality, something evert BB sold.
If your sick of BB with EDGE, then get a damn iPhone.
