Expensive Data Plan
$64.99 per month for data seems very expensive. My Moto Q only runs me about 35 per month. Is this rate only for overseas? or is there going to be a cheaper rate within the US?

Read the header "Verizon Wireless Announces GLOBAL PLANS for Blackberry Storm"
Verizon US plans will be much cheaper

Keep in mind also that the storm will work in Japan. And these pricings are in line with other VZW global blackberry plans.

I thought that those prices might be for just global, but I saw nothing about US Rates. I hope that they are more in line with the Moto Q

Current Blackberry pricing is $29.99 for email and web, $44.99 for corporate provisioning, tethering caps out at $60 total and VZNav is $10/mo. I haven't heard anything drastically different with the Storm, save for 1, the GSM radio won't work in the US, and 2, location-based stuff like Blackberry Maps and Google Maps will only be unlocked with the $10 VZNav subscription. BUT google maps works globally with that feature.

This isn't really anything new. Blackberries have had a global data plan for $70 for a long time. At least with sprint they have, not sure about other carriers.
But to help answer your question chris, the $70 is for data usage in the US and internationally. The data plans for the US will be more in line with the usual domestic data plans. I would guess around $30-40/month

Thank you Nex, I appreciate that!

It's the same data plan offered for the 8830. I don't even know why they bothered dropping this info. Nothing new... I am sure they will have the $29.99 Unlimited Email and Web feature or the $44.99 Unlimited Blackberry which includes Enterprise.
