I Remember...

I Remember when the Airave was first announced by Sprint, and all the Verizon fanboys were screaming about how "you wouldn't need a device like that if you had a superior network with better signal".
😳 😳 Where are those fanboys now? 😁 😁

Probably looking forward to having better signal in their house, just like the Sprint peeps...

Verizon fanbois are doped up about they're carrier, and aren't in touch with reality, and they're brainwashed by those "network" advertisements!!!!

AT&T has worked just fine for me for 7yrs now. From now on I'm calling Verizon fanboys Verizon crackheads!!!

Right here.

and its for area of location where towers are not around.

like at my grandparents lake house, theres a huge clif behind em, then the lake with Alabama on the other side. Verizon gets one bar, and its EVDO. No one els does. What you can do is set that thing up and it will bring in EVDO Rev A speeds and voice calls to full service.

Verizon still has the best coverage around even better now that we have Alltel, i mean look, Sprint roams when you go off an interstate and in a rural area. It looks like connect the dots on there coverage map.

Service can be blocked by many things, weather, trees, buildings, ect. and no one is EVER going to have service everywhere. With all these Laws of where a tower can be, and they have t...

If it's the Airave, It will NOT boost rev. A signal. It only boosts 1x internet signal and voice. It wasn't designed to boost internet signal, thats what wi-fi's for. \

The airave is strictly to boost incoming and outgoing calls in a poor or weak signal area, such as a home or small office.

Too bad Verizon Cripples most of their phones and also doesn't have many devices with WiFi... they WOULD want something to boost internet signal...

Too bad ATT doesn't have a good 3G network in place or you wouldn't need so many phones with Wi-Fi which is still choked by whatever is supplying it.

And just to keep you happy there are currently two phones I can think of with WiFi on Verizon with 2-3 more coming this month. Happy? Course not, you're not on Verizon.

Too Bad you are right... I am probably the most depressed person on earth because I am not on Verizon...

Crippled phones... coverage that blows in my area... Technology that can't use talk and web simultaneously... etc etc etc... Yup, you are right! Idiot. Don't be such a whipped little VZW Fanboy Bitch.

I am sick of fanboys... always having to defend their crappy company, in this cas...

... Hey fanboy... it won't work for roaming because it has a GPS lock on it.

Go to a Verizon Forum if you want to talk to people about how big Big Red is... nobody here cares. People on here are talking about how ironic it is that you VZW Fanboys were just saying how Verizon would never need one of these because their network is so "great"; however, look who is following suit and look around... where did all those fanboys go? Yeah, they'll never admit it, but look who follows the lead of Sprint...

I am an AT&T user myself, but I have a lot of respect for Sprint now that they have a new CEO who is changing things around for the better. I was for sure that Sprint was going under earlier this year, but now it looks as though they ar...

hahaha!
i never said anything about needing one of those.

If you read i said no one can get service everywhere.

Now that Verizon owns alltel, Verizons has more coverage in more places. CDMA is bigger then GSM in the US.

And im sorry you have at&t, life sucks huh?

and WiMax sucks. no one uses it.
LTE is faster the what WiMax is right now, and WiMax will be useless later on.

Verizon already has a test site for LTE and has been testing. Has had in sense the start of summer.

LTE will be on on Verizons network before anyone els. LTE is what the world is doing, so Sprint will be left out on cool phones later on that Verizon, AT&T, T-Mobile will have.

AT&T has A LOT of work to do before they can bring there LTE out, so does T...

A person my age usually tries to evade involvement with adolescent statements such as this because everyone is entitled to their opinion of their carrier or anyone elses. But to convey an attitude of arrogance on a subject without the proper knowledge like you did, only precludes judgement of an individual's ego has quite possibly outgrown their limitations.

Nothing in your post made me want to drop my carrier and run to yours. All your lettering and words were thrown together in an irrelevent sequence. This only conveyed ignorance and did not promote your carrier in an attractive way.

...Wow, really? Do you read before you post? I highly recommend it. But it's okay, keep riding verizon's sack and be ignorant about it.

LTE is faster the what WiMax is right now, and WiMax will be useless later on.

I'm sorry, remind me where LTE has launched in the US outside of a box? It will be faster than wimax...2 years from now. So congratulations to VZW to being the tallest midget 2 years behind sprint

Okay not to say i trust tyler in anything he posts, but is this right?

What you can do is set that thing up and it will bring in EVDO Rev A speeds and voice calls to full service

Does it boost data as well or only a voice signal? Sprint's only boosts voice signal. I gotta say it would be pretty cool if verizon's boosted data as well. But coming from the source...i doubt it

As I understand it, the Airave will boost data but only at 1X.

It would be pretty cool if Verizon's supports EVDO. Guess we'll have to wait for details.
