Now we start building our agent stores with Verizon colors. Cool beans, we get to experiment with new fixtures.

I have this Alltel plan from 5 years ago, I want to add another line to it and the people on the phone told me I had to change my price plan to a modern one and I decided to come into here and see what you can do for me. >.

iPhone? Don't you AT&T guys need to get better service first? Or at least the 3G network it places where you actually sell the phone? 🙂

And I have at least 20 people a day calling or coming in asking about when we take over Alltel, and when can they switch to us...hm....sorry AT&T

I honestly don't think At&t's Network could handle taking on half of Alltel's Customers that quickly. Anyone remember the issues we say with IDEN when that started to overload?

I am one of alltel and I will not move from verizon. I compared their plans and with my discount that alltel does not give since I am on a plan that gives something for free. It will comeout cheaper. Lets see right now I get 1000 M2M 1000 text my circle for 84.99 plus 15.00 for 3rd line total 99.99 plus my wife needs more then 1000 texts so that is 19.99 a month for 120.00 a month. I can get verizon either 1400 min for 3 phones at 129.00 to include unl text and pics. Or 2100 for 149.00. I like verizon already.

Are you on the Mycircle plan? We do not have Alltel here so I am ignorant with your comparison. But from what I have heard, Alltel's plans are cheaper in comparison of what they offer. Just asking because I truly don't know.

yes I am on mycircle plan. You only get 10 numbers per account so with 3 phones its not that many. Plus allot of the numbers on it half are verizon numbers and they will be free anyway. The other we talk to is alltel people which will still be free. And who knows verizon might keep mycircle. I doubt it though. But ether way with the employee discount and text included verizon looks a better deal to me.

Yeah I guess that was what I was looking for. TMO offers a Myfave plan. By the time I would input my 5 closest friends, I would have my other ten that I would be charged for since they are all mixed and matched carriers. At least with Sprint, my unlimited hours start at 6pm and I can call anyone I want. I just can't find a better deal anywhere. Honest!

TMO has bad reception in places if you travel allot. Trust me. If you don't and they have good service in your home area then they are great. Price is great and call quality is good for the price.

I am not a sales rep for sprint so I speak in terms of customer. I have 5 lines with UL Mesg(video,Txt and pix) nights at 6, 1500 shared min. and data for myself at 158 bucks a Month! I have hardly ever been without service and I travel an average of 1200 miles a week. Most of my calls are after 6 anyway. So again I haven't found anyone to beat this deal and I have family and friends that work for Verizon that say they can't beat it. And I don't get any sort of discount. I just think people are not in tune with what Sprint has to offer. After owning a cell phone for over 21 years, I have not found a better carrier. I wouldn't have said that 2 and half years ago.

your right they have great plans however as I stated in another post I wouldn't go back to sprint if they gave me a unlimited plan for 3 phones for 20 bucks. Nope never.

They did a 8+ year customer very very wrong.

Yup! Been there with Sprint. I know what your saying but I am glad I returned. I have had too many experiences with carriers to realize they are all pretty much the same but in a different fashion. To pay extra just for coverage does not placate my lifestyle. But it is all choice.

I work for Verizon and for 1400 shared minutes (100 minutes less than yours) with unlimited txting and picture messaging, for all 5 lines, it comes out to 149.96. So...although you only save 9 bucks, the service is much better.

Some people underestimate what Sprint has to offer because (I am not sure where you live) but on the WEST coast, Sprint is unbelievably HORRIBLE. I live in a small city in Arizona where there is a major university, and the only service that works ON CAMPUS! is Verizon. the only Sprint store here that has survived is a privately owned store, and that too is soon to leave, because no one has Sprint on the West Coast anymore...it just doesnt work here, or hardly anywhere. Same with AT&T.

West Coast is a pretty broad statement...And the only market you are talking about is one...in arizona. So i'm gonna have to call you out on the reliability of your "west coast" statement. Maybe in that one part of arizona vzw is the only choice and so be it; to generalize that to other areas is pretty ignorant

The only coverage I spoke of (Arizona) is because I was giving an example. Where I currently live, VZW is not the only, but it is the best. I actually have lived in many big and little cities and towns across Arizona and Nevada, and my Grandparents have lived in Oregon and Washington, My uncle in California and my Aunt in Colorado. That covers most of the West Coast if I should be so ignorant. All of us have had Sprint and AT&T in the recent past, and all have said the same thing. I have also been in the phone business for a few years around the states and have heard the same complaints. So you can "call me out" but I am stating my own experiences as well as many customers of mine. I am not stating that VZW gets coverage in every city and t...

I live on the east coast and have awesome coverage. I actually am saving a total of about 45 dollars because the data for my phone was included in the price I quoted but I did not include the insurance on Mine and my Wife's which is in that price. Unless you can include the data for my phone and the insurance for 2 phones and the Nights starting at 6pm in that price you quoted, I feel my deal is unbeatable. I have 2 family members that work for Verizon and admittedly could not match it. Verizon is no doubt a great company but Sprint has been fair to me in their practices and I have enjoyed the savings and their service since returning to them.

Your comment of coverage in the west is a valid complaint amoung many. This will get better ho...

or you can look at some other carrier that uses CDMA and get 3 lines:
1500 min -$109.98
3000 min -$159.98
including unlimited messaging (text, pic & video clips), nights and weekends at 7pm, roaming included, Unlimited M2M...that's before discounts (ie 10% for ALL credit union members, more than 10% for a lot of big employers)

You will of course want to check your coverage area first, Ican look up your employer disccount and coverage if you want to send me a message.

Also look at how much you travel, because even if you have great service at home, you can really suffer when you start traveling. My first phone was Voicestream (became Tmobile) and I loved it. Cheap plan, excellent service. But then I went to school out of state, and it was terrible.

Traveling is important to consider as well, in addition to how many people are on which network, etc.

that is what happens when you go to a GSM carrier. They are great in cities and interstates. Get off the mainstream and nothing. The problem is there isn't as many small carriers that use GSM. Their are allot that use CDMA. Every CDMA carrier I have used Sprint, Verizon, and Alltel I have had service everywere I have ever been. ANd inthe military that is some crazy places (in the US).
