This is a small price to pay for your kids safety and feel it is worth it.

But not so sure it would work just to keep tabs on your troubled kid/Spouse. Does this work when the handset is off? I don't believe it does. So your kid or spouse could elude any detection by shutting their phone off and using a friends or lovers. Also there is a way to shut off the GPS on the phone anyway except for the 911. Can someone correct me if I am wrong?

But again for safety, it is worth it.

I think overall this feature is great for tracking, but YES it can be turned off on the handset and also your child/spouse gets a text to their phone when being tracked. Ooopps, your caught!
