I actually think this will be a positive for Sprint not a negative. It will give people a chance to try out the Simply Everything plan--- unlimited talk, direct connect, group connect, text msgs, picture msgs, video msgs, email, web access, gps navigation, sprint TV, Sprint music, Nascar, NFL mobile, all for the same price the other guys have for just their unlimited talk.

It is not for customers in their current contracts, it will only be for customers signing service or making contract changes from teh date it starts going forward. The existing contracts and ETFs will still be valid for current customers.

I fully understand that demographics of dealers needing to make up the price of the phones. However:
As a cell phone user for over 20 years, the 30 day trial debate is old. Most of the issues I have experienced have been well after the 30 day trial when billing practices have come into play. There has only been one time the 30 day trial worked and that was for issues with dropped calls and the clarity which hampered business.
The mark up on phones is very lucrative for the manufactures and ETF's should allow carriers to drive better negotiating prices from these manufactures to pass on to us consumers. With cell phones replacing land lines, We want a choice without having to mortgage our homes to do it. If the carriers gave us consumers...
