I am sure they are interested, Leap is probably interested also. They have been unable to get a reasonable roaming rate from the big 3 CDMA carriers, and Im sure they would love a way to stick it to them.
They are pushing for a new way to allow roaming agreements to be regulated. One side would bring their idea of fair, the other side their, and a mediator would choose to option one of the terms brought to them.
Both companies would really get a huge boost in business with the additional markets. I wouldn't doubt at all the both leap and metro end up with a nice chunk of what gets divested.
