This phone is for sale on the att website for $99.00 w/ a $50.00 MIB. Havnt seen the real thing yet but the dummy of the phone we got in our store is pretty s**ty looking. Very small and cheap feeling.

I would agree with Jrockemsockem until I learned the specs of the phone. When we got the dummy phone, I thought it was going to be either a go phone or a comptetor for the 2610. then I found out the specs and I was impressed. I just hope that the real ones feel better than the dummies.

The phone may be packed with features, but will not impress most users. It was basically a device marketed towards the younger crowd. Don't blame Samsung, this was an AT&T directive and they went with it. Music and other core functions are same as a747 (SLM) so quality is there, just a poor form factor.

AT&T you listening? Probably not, since this seems to be an ongoing "strategy" of yours.

Here's how I see it: You offer crap phones, and due to your network dominance and being the only real alternative for those of us who travel to Europe or Asia, you keep our business. What great "customer service" you provide (I'm being sarcastic)!

Get with it, can't you offer ANYTHING remotely interesting. The iPhone is a one-trick pony, time to add some Nokias and Sony Ericssons and ??? to the mix.

seriously! what a poor selection for a world class network.
wake up at&t and restructure your line.
it's an embarrasment.

You just about nailed it. My 11 year old son asked me why I'm "with AT&T." I asked him why it mattered, since he wasn't going to have a phone any time soon, and he replied that all the kids and families he knows are with Verizon. Then he followed up with, and besides they (Verizon) have all the cool phones.

He couldn't be more right! AT&T lives in the past, or at least in Dullsville. I'm a fan of Nokia and SonyEricsson ... look at the crap lineup of products from those guys!

NOKIA!!! The number one provider of phones in the world and I think AT&T has THREE freakin / friggin versions. That's it??!!

What a joke. Some day we'll have GSM choice, maybe when T-Mobile gets big enough (they are GSM, aren't they?).
