This is something I think I would use extensively. Other opinions on this? Zune has been gaining speed with their MP3's and I feel this would be a great added feature for any mobile windows user. I say bring it on!

I don't really know much about Zune other than the devices being pretty cool. I would like to see a steaming media service available directly in the windows mobile operating system. Store you music on their server or a PC and be able to access then to either download to the device OTA or stream on demand.
But at very least, Windows Mobile really needs an MP3 player interface that handles playlist options much better then it currently does.

Absolutely! I do have HTC Home customizer I downloaded on my phone which is totally off the hook but the streaming media app that came with it? The quality is only ok.

I just plain don't like the lack of options for power users. Regardless of the problems with Windows, Windows Mobile is arguably the most powerful cell phone platform available. (not including android of course) HTC devices are killer, and then Microsoft cripples portions of the phone. Media players won't do divX or Xvid you have to download a 3rd party ap like Core. If your listening WE WANT A GREAT MEDIA EXPERIENCE ON A WINDOWS MOBILE DEVICE! GIVE ME STREAMING AUDIO/VIDEO, GIVE ME PLAYLIST ORGANIZATION, AND THE ABILITY TO PURCHASE WITH AN INTEGRATED STORE! 👿

Just in case you didn't know this: The beauty of Zune is that it is a microsoft product and it is a killer mp3 that also plays great quality vids. Being they are the same company, we could only hope this would enhance the media experience far more in the WM phones.

I have heard they are great, but I have never had a chance to play with one to try it out. None of my friends near-by have one

The software is very nice, stylish, and about a billion times better than a stupid iPod's.

The hardware is a little blah, though. I like the original design best, even though it was quite a brick.
