Skyfire web browser REALLY brings websites to life, but you have to have either a WinMo phone, or a Symbian phone, and it's still in Beta. But it is an awesome browser!!! Yes, you can watch video using the skyfire browser. It's believed that somewhere around early next year it'll be done with it's Beta.

Skyfire IS an AWESOME browser đ ! Today, I had a friend of mine do a speed test w/ his iPhone and me with my HTC TOUCH . We both used cnn.com. it took 9 seconds for the TOUCH to load, using Skyfire đ . His iPhone was still loading after 0ne minute đ ! PLUS, his iPhone took him to the mobile version of CNN đ¤ !

The only problem I have with Skyfire is it is a major drain on the battery, it really is. Do you have the same experience?

When I use Skyfire it DOES eat up battery life âšī¸ . But, after reviewing my consumption of power, I found out I had my backlight on highest setting, I had configured my screen to NEVER shut off AND my bluetooth, sometimes, is on đ .
I've learned in the past, IF I want "geeky" sh** 𤤠, I need to be prepared for using my car adapter OR prepare for extra batteries. So, I do both...I've purchased 3 (one w/ extra life) đ . If I make adjustments to my TOUCH regarding the additional drainage, Skyfire will run continuous for 2.5 hours or more đ . PLUS đ¤ it helps if I do NOT direct Skyfire towards those dang porn sites w/ flash đ !

Yes I have the same problem with the battery. It is the only thing holding it back. It essentially means you can never walk away or keep it running in the background. Which is a real shame. For this reason it is not really an ultimate solution.
Problem is I'm not really sure what can be done about it since the entire browser is essentially streaming media. Perhaps having it somehow be able to remember the last page you were on and come back to it immediately after shut down if you want it to. Just thinking out loud.
