Well, if there is demand.

US is not the only one using 850/1900. Think of an entire continent (or two). Not to mention 850 in Australia.

Sprint or Verizon like the design enough to request an exlusive to it... then it will take 6 months to 1 year to re design the innards for CDMA.

This is why CDMA isnt that popular in the world. Heck, even certain CDMA carriers are converting to GSM/UMTS. Like Telstra in Australia, or soon to be Telus in Canada, who are going to convert to HSPA.

And yet Qualcomm is trying to penetrate certain 3rd world country markets. If they want to do that, they got to do two things. Make it cheap for carriers to use their 'proprietary' equipment, and second most important, make kick-a__ products. 1.3MP and 2.0 mp camera phones are so 2005. 3.0mp and 4.0 mp should be the norm. Also, they should introduce SIM cards, or its equivalent, and tell VZW to drop the propreitary OS.

i work for best buy in the cellphone department... Personally i think its a toss up. I doubt verizon will pick it up because they've never really wasted their time waiting for a phone to be converted to CDMA. sprints our best bet. unless u get it in an unlocked version

the exception being that sprint doesn't accepted unlocked phones. we actually disapprove of it. we won't flash a phone to our network, nor do we accept unlocked phones.

I know and it sucks, but it keeps people from stealin phones so no complaints here. but the htc diamond was an unlocked phone and we're about to start selling that for sprint soon so my fingers are crossed because samsung makes good phones for the most part.

For real, huh? Verizon's OS is annoying!
