Right, like I'm going to trust Sprint's network with the information passed along with a app like this.
That's like giving the government $700 billion to fix the economy.

So essencially, your saying no matter what happens with this $700b deal, we're doomed?!!?

This is one of those times I'd prefer to ignore reality!!!! It's almost getting to the point I don't even want to know the news for this upcoming week!!!

I don't care what carrier it is, I don't know how comfortable I am banking over my phone. Especially after Ms. Hilton's deal went down. Then again, my BlackBerry is probably safer than my computer...

It is. CDMA is a very secure network to transmit data.

I felt the same way with both this comment and response. I feel unsecure knowing someone could pick up my phone and literally know everything about my life and in some small key strokes change it majorly! However, to think doing the same thing at home over my computer is any safer is just niave. 🙄

Well it's that time once again.....Your BB is much safer than a computer as long as your on CDMA networks. If your on GSM, your on your own. With todays advancements in the cell usage, more and more people are relying on phones for everything. As we've seen recently: unlocking/starting your car, phone scanning your flight at the airport, banking Etc. You name it. So why worry? GSM has been hacked many, many times over the years. CDMA has not and is almost impossible if at all. While GSM has made steps to eliminate the hacking, it has not been perfected. CDMA was developed for the military to answer the unsecure issues GSM is prone to.

Voice calls are transmitted through WCDMA when available. Do not confuse WCDMA with EVDO. WCDMA is a 3G Voice and Data solution for GSM, while CDMA's 3G EVDO is strictly "Data-Only/Optimized."

Thank you for making my response more accurate.
I guess my point is that I feel more secure on a constant CDMA transmission rather than a WCDMA that may or may not be there.
