I think that there would be little doubt that a microsd card could someday hold 100gb. I remember when I worked for Radio Shack in the lates 70's - early 80's and we sold the TRS-80 Model II that had 64k RAM and used an 8" 500KB floppy drive. You could get as many as 4 drives hooked up to the machine for total storage of 2 MB. At the time, we had no idea how anybody could need that much storage. A few years later, we had people lining up to py $799 for a 20 MB hard drive. You can now get a 1GB flash drive for less than $20. The amount of memory on a micro sd card doubles every year, so it should only take about 3 years for the 100GB plateau to be reached.
