I'm sorry but this kills the phone...

The fine print in T-Mobile's new HTC Android G1 data plan shows that it has a soft cap of 1GB of data transfer per month. If that 1GB limit is exceeded, T-Mobile reserves the right to throttle back the speeds at which the 3G network can be accessed down to 50Kbps.

Not a smart move, why put a cap on such a highly intensive data phone? tmobiles 3g is weak as is but to reserve the right to drop your speed from 1.3mbps to 50kbps just for going over 1gb of data on a phone BUILT for data usage is just stupid!

I'll wait for android to go to a provider that is not afraid to capitalize on the data features of the phone.
