T-Mobile Expanding 3G Footprint

My co-worker was complaining about the same thing when we found out like a year ago. I've read reviews from people in New York about average connection rate being faster with T-mobile 3G compared to ATT, which could be related to it being on a different frequency.
The other cool thing is when phones get announced.. Even if they haven't announced what company it's intended for, if they have the 1700MHz band, then it's as good as seeing the T-mobile logo on a phone picture.
