You don't go from an iPhone to an LG Lotus, and you don't go from AT&T to Sprint and find fewer dropped calls...

The iphone is not the end all phone. Heres a shocker not everyone likes the iphone 😲 . Don't be sheep and get a phone because your told its cool and trendy. If the phone works for you and you enjoy using it, thats all that matters. And At&t's network sucks, even at&t thinks so.

Yeah I'm pretty sure the iPhone goes beyond "cool and trendy." Try having the best mobile OS UI, the best applications, the best web browser, and the best media player just for starters... I'm pretty sure the only people who don't like the iPhone are the losers stuck on their parent's Sprint/TMO/Verizon plan and have to settle for Android or an LG Dare.

AT&T's network isn't perfect, but it's better than T-Mobile's and it's better than Sprint's, and where I live it's better than Verizon's too.

I have to "settle" for a Samsung Saga I got for cheap on ebay, and it is working fine on Verizon, which hasn't really failed me even on a phone that performs worse than just about every other phone in the lineup for reception.

I have to "settle" on having my phone being able to upload and download any kind of file the Yahoo! email server will allow, or which I can right-click Save Target As in the browsers.

I have to "settle" on my phone using a removable memory card up to 16 GB in size, and installing/running programs from it directly.

I have to "settle" on using WiFi instead of 3G because I have Cable Internet and it makes HSDPA 7.2 Mbps look like a dog.

I have to "settle" on typing 40 words per minute using a physical keyboard...

You have to "Settle" with a horrible user interface. Enjoy that "Start" Menu.

You have to "Settle" with a horrible web browser. (Go ahead, name a Browser that renders pages as accurately, quickly, reliably, and consistently as Mobile Safari, there are none.)

You have to "Settle" for the fact that if your phone runs into any issues nobody will support it.

You have to "Settle" for the fact your keyboard lacks the intelligent autocorrect of the iPhone' and can only be used in one orientation.

You have to "Settle" for that lousy mail client. How's your MS Word support? Oh right, half-baked. How's your PDF support? Sorry I asked.

You have to "Settle" for not having a decent Twitter, IM, or Facebook App.

You have to "Settle" us...

You mean like placing calls? Mine seems to just fine, likely because I can afford a plan for it

I'm a huge apple fan and a even bigger iPhone fan. With that said I would never own an iPhone if I couldn't jail break it. I would have just stayed with my bb bold. But since I can I do. I don't care what anyone says about the iPhone being crap or blah blah no device besides a laptop or desktop can surf the web like safari. And no device can be customized like a jailbroken iPhone. Every single phone that has came out as the iPhone killer has failed. iPhone wins every time and guess what just like the last three years apple is coming with a new phone this year and it will own just like the last three models.
