I have been a cellphone user since '84 and have had every major us carrier. 2 years ago I would not have given 10 cents for Sprint as a carrier. But after have been back with them for a year and a half, ( yes I did return with much apprehension) They have been excellent across the board and them coming out with some good products like these lately has been a refreshing welcome from the old Sprint.

I agree!

Ironically, a year and half ago I finally bailed on Sprint after being a loyal customer for 7 years. I chose to leave for Helio and the Ocean because I grew tired of waiting for new/cool devices that met my needs - which BTW Sprint used to lead the pack in! I always hoped that Sprint would change it's direction for the better but, it was time to take my business elsewhere. Now, it definitely appears as though Dan and the rest are heeding their customer's call, and getting back to what made them successful in the past! Their Fall lineup is the most impressive I've seen of all the carriers so far. And, even with the Ocean II rumored to be released between now and 1st Q '09 - I have a feeling I'll be (excitedly) returning to Sprint!...

I totally agree here. I worked for at&t for 2 years, during the time where Sprint had it's preverbial "one foot in the grave" period. I've since left at&t and I now work for a Sprint dealer, and I GOTTA say, I've jumped on board at the right time. The line-up that Sprint has coming down the pipe is nothing short of a murderers row!! From top to bottom, nothing but quality handsets. Of course I'm most stoked about the HTC Touch Diamond/Pro. Sprint employee plan, here I come!!!

Indeed...the Touch Pro looks like the sickest WM device - EVER (IMO)!
May I ask...has Sprint/Microsoft managed to add the functionality to be able to text pics/vids to other cell phones yet? I remember that being an issue with Sprint's WM devices when I was last a Sprint customer. And, what about the "fun features" Sprint offers like Sprint TV, Sprint Music Store, Ringers, & Ringtones, etc...can their WM devices take advantage of that stuff?

Thanx! 🤣

just about everything you mentioned is available. pix are not an issue with WM if you know how to do it. I do it everyday. it needs to be sent as an Email. once you get used to it, its really not bad. the average user does not realize that if they have pix mail capability, they are assigned a pix mail address which is in the form of an email. E.G. 1234567890 representing the phone number of your friends and then followed by @pm.sprint.com.
Verizon customers would be 1234567890@vzwpix.com. you store these numbers in the email section of your phone under the contacts. it maybe a little bit of a learning curve at first but after a few times its cake.

Naytess, YES! Most of these power apps will be on both the Diamond and Pro (if not all), along with first ever built-in software to send a REGULAR PIC MAIL (just by typing customers number) from a Sprint WinMo phone!
